A New Word's Worth is on the Way
There are a few changes underway at Word's Worth Writing Center:
Our name is changing to Word's Worth Writing Connections. It's a little
change, but still keeps the focus on one of the most important parts of the writing process.
After 4 great years the space at 2300 Far Hills Avenue has closed. Many great
discussions and discoveries about writing were made there, and on top of that numerous relationships were formed through
the classes and workshops. So, we're taking the Word's Worth show on the road and making ourselves more present in
the Dayton community.
We will be looking for more ways to
help writers make the interpersonal connections to help them reach their writing goals. Keep an eye out for future Word's
Worth sponsored events and feel free to tell us about events of your own.
For now the classes and workshop offerings will be fewer each quarter, but feel free to schedule a consultation
for any writing need.
One
thing that hasn't changed is that local author Katrina Kittle is still bringing her expertise, advice, and wisdom to struggling
writers. In between promoting her fourth book, The Blessings of the Animals, Katrina will be teaching the popular The
Craft of Fiction class, as well as overseeing a Writer's Workshop that offers practical advice
for writers who are immersed in the process. Katrina's approach, insight, and ability to motivate writers has been raved
about by former students. She's definitely the perfect person to seek for writing advice. For more information on these classes, check
